Money in an envelope is practical but seldom personal. Anyone wanting to give the couple something lasting soon arrives at memories – and the most precious memories of a wedding are the pictures the couple never saw themselves: their own parents on the dance floor, friends raising a glass, children blowing bubbles.
With Sammelmomente that’s exactly what you give: a private gallery where all the guests collect their photos during the celebration. The present only comes into being on the night itself – and the couple unwraps it the next morning.
Ideal for the wedding party and group gifts
As best man or maid of honour you’re involved in the planning anyway. You create the event, design the table cards with the QR code in the editor and arrange a short announcement with the venue or DJ. The Wedding package for up to 100 guests costs a one-off 34.99 euros and is easy to split among friends.
Have a quick word with the couple first if you’re unsure whether they’re already planning something similar. The reveal itself can still be a surprise.
How handing it over becomes a moment
Set the gallery to manual reveal. At breakfast the next day or at brunch with the remaining guests, you open it with a click and give the couple the link. All the pictures can be downloaded as a ZIP – to round off the present, turn them into a photo book later.
With the Wedding package the photos are stored for 180 days and then deleted automatically. So do remind the couple to save the pictures in good time.
Collecting photos at the wedding: step by step
- Create the event and get your QR code. You create your event in the browser, pick colours and a welcome message and get a QR code plus link straight away. It only takes a few minutes.
- Hand out the code. Print the card from the editor in A4, A5 or A6 and put it on the tables at the wedding – or send the link to the group beforehand.
- Guests take photos in the browser. Scan, confirm the privacy notice, start shooting. No app and no account. With poor reception, shots are stored and uploaded later.
- Reveal the gallery and save the photos. You open the gallery straight away, at a set time or with a click. Then you download all the pictures as a ZIP.

How to give it well
- Mention it to the couple or at least let one of them in on it – some couples are already planning something similar or want an unplugged ceremony.
- One person from your group creates and manages the event. They design the table cards in the editor, with the couple’s names in script lettering.
- After the wedding, download all the photos as a ZIP and hand them to the couple – on a USB stick in a nice box, for example, or as a photo book.
- Good to know: an event can’t currently be transferred to another account. Whoever creates it stays the host and passes the pictures on.

Is there a gift voucher?
Not yet. For now the gift works like this: you set up the event yourselves and hand the photos to the couple at the end. A voucher is an obvious next step, but isn’t available yet.
Will the couple notice anything beforehand?
Only if you want them to. You don’t put the cards on the tables until the wedding day. The couple doesn’t need an account of their own.
What if only a few guests take part?
A short announcement is what counts, ideally from you as best man or maid of honour after dinner. Cards on every table and a note in the order of the day help as well.
How much does Sammelmomente cost for a wedding?
Up to 10 guests, Sammelmomente is free for good. The 100 guests package is a one-off €39 per event and covers up to 100 guests with 30 photos each and 90 days of storage. There’s no subscription and no automatic renewal.
How do guests get the QR code?
Through the printable card from the editor (A4, A5 or A6) that you put out at the wedding, or through the event link you send by messenger or with the invitation. Both lead to the same page.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. Guests scan the QR code, confirm the privacy notice and take photos right in their phone’s browser. Nothing is installed and no account is created.
